Daniel Levin & Sarah Helman

  Sarah is currently in sadir, in an elite unit in magav. Daniel is currently in miluim, as a combat soldier and tank driver, and just got out of gaza.

  We were both lone soldiers, and found eachother during the army. We connected to our love of Israel and desire to join the army and how we both learned in our respective yeshiva/midrasha in jerusalem. We started officially dating just as I started basic training in tanks, and took every opportunity to see each other. She joined the army to an elite unit in magav, where she still serves until today. Throughout our 2.5 year relationship we have always had someone in the army if not both of us, so as a rule we only see each other maybe once a month, but we make it work because of how much we love eachother. We have a rule that at least once a week we call and try learn some Torah together, and unfortunately during the war while I was in miluim in gaza, it was the first time in a long time that we missed a week. We are both looking forward to finally having time together.
