Amalia Hochmann & Dror Zadok

Amalia is a Major (res.) in the IDF Spokespersons unit. Was drafted on the morning of October 9th, and received her Major ranks from Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari (IDF Spokesperson) just last month. She is stationed at the Operations Directorate in the "Bor" (IDF central war room), handling communication and media coordination aspects of IDF's strategic attack units.

We were both part of a small honors program in college, where we became fast and close friends We got engaged July 3rd this year in Greece. Our relationship has endured COVID 19, mental health struggles and now - war. Planning to stick with each other for a very long time and to keep on pushing through the good and bad times in life; we are getting married this January. At first, we just wanted to have a great party with our friends, but now all we want is to remind our friends and families that there will be good times ahead despite of the darkness surrounding us all.
