Pianissimo Bowl with Unique Origami Design. Designer Abi Alice
The “Pianissimo” basket joins the two baskets from two Alessi series “Resonance” (2006 centrepiece / 2008 fruit holder) and the “Harmonic” basket (2008) created by the same Australian designer.
As in all her projects, Abi uses geometric artistic drawings as a basis to create three-dimensional sculptured objects, subjecting the sheet steel to successive cutting, folding and curving operations.
